Saracen is the dog responsible for bringing us to the Dobermann.
In his youth, he was shown (though it must be said, he found the Show ring
rather tedious), he was a winner of the Cleveland DogTraining Societies Open
Obedience Competition and trained for Agility etc.
He is now a qualified Pets as Therapy Hospital Visiting Dog, visiting old folks
homes etc, where his friendly disposition never fails to cheer up the old & frail.
He occasionally trains in Sch where his tracking ability is particularly impressive

Sallate Van Hammer (Saracen) past away on the 30/12/02, with Cardiomyopathy at he ripe age of almost 10 years. As our first Dobermann, he will be sadly missed.
